Community Development Funds
The Kestrel Mine Community Development Fund was established in 2003 to support communities in the Emerald and Capella regions to build community capacity, address development challenges and take advantage of emerging opportunities. Since its inception the fund has provided more than $1.5 million in funding. Find out more about the Fund and how to apply using the link below.The Kestrel Aboriginal Community Development Fund was launched in early 2009 to provide funds to support a range of community projects that deliver positive, constructive, real and sustainable outcomes to the Aboriginal Community of Interest, the Kangoulu People and other Aboriginal people within the local Emerald region.
