Blair Athol Mine/Clermont Mine - Clermont, Qld

Blair Athol and Clermont mines are located near the township of Clermont approximately 240 kilometres south west of Mackay and 100 kilometres north of Emerald. Most Blair Athol Mine employees and the majority of Clermont Mine employees live within the Clermont region and take advantage of the opportunities to reside with their families in a town with varied educational and leisure options, and many amenities rarely seen outside of major centres.

Kestrel Mine - Emerald, Qld

Kestrel Mine employees generally reside in the town of Emerald or the rural centre of Capella within the Central Highlands. Emerald is a large, modern country town that services the mining and rural sectors. Emerald boasts an extensive range of primary, secondary and tertiary educational facilities and a diverse range of shops and services. The town is serviced by regular daily flights to Brisbane via Qantas and Virgin Australia. Capella is a smaller centre that is home to one of the region's largest aquatic centres and a cultural centre that has hosted many well-known international acts.

Bengalla, Hunter Valley Operations and Mount Thorley Warkworth - Hunter Valley (NSW)

Coal & Allied's operations are located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. The area is home to agriculture, international thoroughbred studs, wine and gourmet food trails, coal mining, power generation and arts and culture.

Tourism is a major industry and Coal & Allied's operations are located within close proximity of the Hunter Valley Wine Country and its restaurants, cellar doors and activities.

Coal & Allied employees live in the Hunter region, which encompasses Muswellbrook and Singleton in the Upper Hunter and stretches to Maitland and Newcastle in the Lower Hunter.

Outside of the regional service centres of Muswellbrook and Singleton, a number of smaller townships including Scone, Merriwa, Murrurundi and Denman offer rural lifestyle options for employees.
