New South Wales (Coal & Allied)

In New South Wales our operations are located in the Hunter Valley region, where we manage Coal & Allied's three open cut operations at Bengalla, Hunter Valley Operations and Mount Thorley Warkworth.

Our plans for the future will provide ongoing investment in the local region, generating revenue, creating jobs, providing infrastructure and supporting communities.

Bengalla

Bengalla, located four km south west of Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, supplies international markets with more than five million tonnes of thermal coal per annum.

Hunter Valley Operations

Hunter Valley Operations (HVO), located 24 km north west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, supplies international markets with more than 12 million tonnes of thermal and semi-soft coking coal per annum.

Mount Thorley Warkworth

Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is an integrated operation of two open cut mines located adjacent to each other 15 km south west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. The operation supplies international and domestic markets with up to 10 million tonnes of semi-soft coking coal and thermal coal per annum.
